Introduction
Full Membership of the BHA covers large and small commercial helicopter operating companies, corporate and business operators, charter and public service operators such as Police, air ambulance, helicopter emergency medical services and Search and Rescue. It includes manufacturing and maintenance support companies. Associate Membership covers many other types of companies and individuals that have an interest in commercial or private helicopter operations such as pilots, engineers, users, insurers, consultants, brokers and helipad owners and operators.
A SPECIAL INTRODUCTORY RATE IS AVAILABLE FOR A ONE YEAR PROVISIONAL MEMBERSHIP TO NEWLY FORMED OPERATORS.
Benefits
The BHA represents the rotorcraft industry to UK authorities and departments and responds on its behalf to consultations and proposals where appropriate. The Association works closely with its membership, industry partners and allied associations to ensure that it speaks with one representative voice. Internationally, the BHA works closely with the European Helicopter Association (EHA) to ensure that UK interests are secure in European legislation.
