Position Summary

The Role

We have a new vacancy for a TRE** HEMS Line Pilot to join our Flight Operations team at DAA. This role will report to the Senior Pilot and will work on a single pilot operation on behalf of Devon Air Ambulance Trading Company. The TRE HEMS Pilot will help ensure all aspects of pilot training and checking are conducted on time, efficiently and in accordance with the training plan. Our line pilots engage with day and night operations within an approved FTL shift pattern.

The Candidate

We are seeking a candidate who is an experienced TRE on H145 or EC135**. You will have experience within HEMS or similar, and hold a UK CAA APTL (H)/CPL (H). The ideal candidate will have a total of 2000+ flying hours, and a minimum of 1000 hours PIC and 150 hours night with NVIS experience. You will also have excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrable experience of leading the team when on duty.

**Please note that accommodation cannot currently be provided by DAATCL at the Exeter Airbase. You are therefore required to reside within a distance of 45 minutes from the Exeter airbase or be able to establish and pay for your own temporary accommodation within 45 minutes from the Exeter airbase for each of your shift runs from this airbase.
